Nerina struggled with sleep from childhood. As an adult, her pattern of disrupted sleep and energy continued.
Although a high performer in her work, Nerina found herself on what she describes as a self-destruct mission. Eventually, she succumbed to a breakdown which led Nerina to realise that she’d been numbing out painful feelings.
She began her journey to recovery with the help of therapy and medication.
In time, however, Nerina walked away from everything she’d known and went to Australia. In Mary Ryan’s bookshop in Brisbane, Nerina began to write and connect deeply with herself.
That journey transformed Nerina’s life and work. Her personal battle with sleep and energy management morphed into the gift she now shares.
